The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is actually one of only a few resorts that is open. The skiing is limited to man-made conditions but hey, its skiing, the lifts are running and strangely, the mountain biking has been spectacular. The last time locals rode the bike trails this late into Fall was 2000. I remember riding 401 on November 16 in 60 degree weather. The next day it snowed 3 feet!
