REPRESENTING CRESTED BUTTE'S
FINEST PROPERTIES
The Gunnison Valley is an amazing place to call home. I first rolled into town in 1990 after graduating from the University of Washington. I quickly fell in love with the community, the mountains and the lifestyle. Today, I am still very much captivated by our tiny ski town, our funky counter culture, the legendary mountain bike trails and sensational backcountry and nordic skiing. I can safely say that Crested Butte has done what many Colorado mountain towns didn’t do. We kept our identity and preserved our lifestyle by checking growth and protecting the land from development. We still don’t have a parking meter or a stoplight. Most everyone walks or rides townie bikes to get the mail, grab a coffee or to head to the show. The hand-painted skier shuttle bus is still free to ride between the ski resort and town.
I am very fortunate to be in the real estate business in Crested Butte. Working with people that share a similar affinity for this place gives me tremendous satisfaction. We all have our reasons why we first ventured to Crested Butte. Perhaps those same reasons are why some of us chose to stay and call this place home. What are your reasons for learning about Crested Butte? Are you looking to make a lifestyle investment? I welcome the opportunity to help you with the process. – Channing Boucher
Crested Butte is surrounded by almost two million acres of pristine wilderness and public lands in southwest Colorado. We are winter sports enthusiasts with unique access to world-class alpine skiing and snowboarding at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, incredible backcountry skiing and snowmobiling and nordic skiing on over 50 km of groomed tracks that wind around our town. In the warmer months we hike, climb and ride our mountain bikes on our legendary single track trail systems and we enjoy fly-fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking on our local rivers. We are Crested Butte.
