Crested Butte Market Report – Q1 2018

Although this past ski season resulted in meager snowfall and will be referred by many as the winter that wasn’t, 2018 is showing more positive signs for our local real estate market. Overall, property sales are up 21% compared to the first quarter of 2017 but perhaps the most exciting thing about our market is the resurgence in land sales. Land sales in Rural Crested Butte and Gunnison area locations are up 292% and 232% respectively. Condo and Townhome sales were down compared to the beginning of 2017 overall as inventory declined.
