An Even Bigger Ranch Deal!

In my last entry (its been awhile – I actually took a vacation) I revealed some information about the rise in demand AND prices for our area’s 35 acre tracts of vacant ranch land. Well, its as if things are never going to stop going up here in Crested Butte! Lot 5 at McCormick Ranch sold last week for $2,369,000! The sale of this 35 acre parcel in the exclusive 8 lot subdivision adjacent to the Town of Crested Butte and the Slate River represents one of the biggest transactions of 2007 – it also demonstrates to us all that our local market’s growth in valuation shows absolutely no signs of letting up.
