Good day from Crested Butte,
It just got twice as expensive to be a real estate broker in the State of Colorado. The declining housing market has caused a 60 percent drop in the number of folks applying for real estate licenses in Colorado. With less agents applying and less agents renewing their licenses, the Colorado Association of Realtors needs the cash to continue to operate successfully. To make up for the serious shortfall in broker fees, the Broker Original Application fee is being doubled to $500 from $250 and the Original Subdivision Registration fee has been raised to $4,000 from $1,000, a 300 percent increase.
Thanks for visiting today,
Channing Boucher
