Super Cheap Airfare Deal to Crested Butte

As the 2008-2009 ski season nears, Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) just announced a very nice airfare deal into Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport.

With its partnership with American Airlines, CBMR’s special airfare is now available for guests coming to ski in Crested Butte this winter. Bucking the travel trend, American Airlines is offering tickets from $250 directly into Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport from Chicago O’Hare and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Beginning December 18, 2008, American Airlines offers daily direct flights from Dallas and Saturday flights from Chicago direct to Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport. “Air travel is not as expensive as people think,” says Daren Cole, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Crested Butte Mountain Resort. “We have seen people book lodging, lift tickets, and everything else but plane tickets. Working together with American Airlines, we couldn’t be a better value right now.”
