The original US Forest Service Ranger Station & residence, located within the historic core of Crested Butte,  at the corner of 1st Street and Gothic Avenue, sold at a local auction conducted by the US Government and Forest Service. The property offering included the original Ranger Station offices and garage as well as the head Ranger’s residence. The property is big for the town of Crested Butte, comprising two adjacent parcels totaling 15,645 sq. ft. or 0.36 acres.

During the auction, the property was offered as two separate parcels with the option to bid on one or both together. I represented the purchaser of the entire property before, during and after the auction event until the property was successfully closed this week. Plans call for redevelopment of the two parcel property into two new residential offerings. The property sold for $1,225,000.
