Approximately 15 percent of the houses located in the Town of Crested Butte are considered short term or vacation rental properties and the Crested Butte Town Council and Staff want to regulate them. The Council is concerned with the social impacts the rental activity has on the community including the loss of local long-term housing. Read the Article at the Crested Butte News
Beginning December 16th, skiers and visitors can fly directly to Gunnison’s airport from Los Angeles. Two flights weekly (Wednesday and Saturday) will connect the two cities until March 26, 2016. This is great news for our winter business and I fully expect my Western US friends to be skiing in Crested Butte this season!
