The High Lift Opens Today !

With the opening of the High Lift today at noon, the North Face Lift last week, and up to 15″ of fresh powder predicted to blanket our mountain by the end of the weekend, it’s an exciting time here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.  Plus, February is full of exciting events for you, your friends and your family!

Saturday, February 9: Inaugural Miss Silver Queen Pageant
We are celebrating the 20th Birthday of the Silver Queen Lift by holding a pageant and crowning the first ever Silver Queen. Enter the fun to win a Gold Pass for next season or come watch the hilarious competitions then stay for Ladies Night After Party from 6-8pm with two for one drinks and DJ Triple L!

Sunday, February 10: Get the Girls Out
Get The Girls Out by She Jumps is a campaign to unite women as they support, challenge, mentor and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world. Come join the ladies and meet new friends as they take over the mountain! Gather on the 9380 deck at 11am. Tutus encouraged!

Tuesday, February 12: Mardi Gras Parade, Downtown Crested Butte
Watch the spectacle on Elk Avenue in downtown Crested Butte at 5:30pm or join in on the festivities! KBUT is presenting the annual Fat Tuesday parade and this celebration is always a wild party in true Buttian style.

Thursday, February 14: Uley’s Cabin Valentine’s Lunch & Sleighride Dinner

Saturday, February 16: Twister of Love Speed Chairlift Dating
Did Valentine’s Day not work out the way you had hoped? Well think of this as your second chance at love (and this time you can be better prepared.)It’s the third annual Twister of Love! Registration opens at noon at the Ice Bar. Pick up your punchcard and for every lap you take on the Twister lift with a potential love connection get another chance to win romantic prizes like lunch for two at Uley’s Cabin.

Sunday, February 17: 80’s Party With Six Million Dollar Band
Get decked out and come rock out to the awesome songs of the 80s with The Six Million Dollar Band. 6MDB delivers high-energy 80s New Wave music using a combination of new and old technology. February 21 – 24: Prater Cup
Come out and watch some of Colorado ski racing’s best competitors! Crested Butte’s marquee annual race will bring 200 of Colorado’s top 11 and 12 year racers heavily onto Crested Butte. The Prater Cup is in its 41st year and is sure to be blast for competitors and fans alike.
