VIEW THIS MONTH’S NEWSLETTER ONLINE

Greetings from Crested Butte Colorado,

Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) started making snow on the ski mountain last week and we have a promising forecast of natural snow this weekend! If you live in a ski town like Crested Butte, this is an exciting time of year. The prospect of a good, snowy winter puts everyone in a good mood. Of course, I rode my mountain bike this week in sunny, 57 degree weather (November 8th) so we simply take what we get from Mother Nature in this little Colorado mountain town of ours!

Ski Free With Lodging – November 21 – December 19, 2012
CBMR is doing good things to promote our upcoming winter tourist season. “Opening Day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is almost a rite of passage, one that deserves to be shared with as many skiers and snowboarders as possible,” explains Scott Clarkson, vice president of sales and marketing. “Everyone loves free skiing which has been synonymous with CBMR since the early 1990’s. To further the tradition after Opening Day guests can ski for free with a lodging stay through Dec.19 at participating lodging properties in Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte and throughout the Gunnison Valley. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy.” This package is only available through Crested Butte Vacations. Low-cost Winter Flights Into The Montrose Airport
CBMR also announed a marketing partnership with Allegiant Air this week. Allegiant Air will provide two flights a week from the San Francisco Bay Area and Phoenix markets, with starting fares as low as $113 one-way from Oakland International Airport and $83 one-way from the Phoenix Mesa Airport. By joining marketing efforts with Telluride, CBMR and other Gunnison Valley businesses would be represented on the Allegiant Air web site.
